Story: Kai and Brooklyn are the best of friends, but they are both in love with Julia. Brooklyn finds out that Kai loves Julia, so he hires Romero to battle Kai because Romero thinks Julia can have someone better than Kai. Romero, then, hires Miguel to battle Julia, so he could make her not stay with Kai. Before Romero wwas about to win, he tells Kai that it was Brooklyn who made him battle him, and Kai goes ballistic.Unfortunately Romero and Miguel both lose, so Brooklyn takes it into his hands and challenges Kai for Julia.

The sepia tone is when two things are happening at once. Kai is battling Romero and Julia is battling Miguel at the same time. When Kai says "Julia" he is seeing her before Dranzer is wrapped in the vines by Romero. Romero, Miguel, and Brooklyn are the whispers in the Dark. :)
