It was the QF match at Wimbledon 1999 when a hamstring-injured Steffi Graf demolished spring-chicken Venus Williams who serve-and-volleyed effectively that day.

@acadavos- i'm a steffi graf fan, but i disagree with your statement 'an old woman beating a powerful teenager to a pulp. the match went to 3 sets, and it wasn't an easy match for both players.
as for power, well, graf had no problems playing powerplayers the likes of pierce, davenport and williams even when she was way pass her prime. but you're right about that QF match, chris evert herself noted it was worthy of a final.
