I love how Michael Krucker plays with just the right amount of rubato without losing the effect of the 2 against 3 rhythms! Some pianists overdo the rubato with Grieg, in my opinion.

when i was younger, i used to have this 1 tape cassette w/ all these beautiful pieces of romantic piano & i would just lay in bed at night & listen to debussy's claire de lune, schumann's Von fremden Ländern und Menschen, chopin's nocturne in f sharp major, and grieg's notturno, repeatedly every night til i fell asleep. i know these titles & their creators now & am happy to be able to find and hear them again, tho my lovely cassette is gone. thank you for uploading. i makes my heart joyful
