@dingus83 I saw them when they supported Geordie at Rolle College, Exmouth in 1975. This song stuck in my head as well all though I thought it was called "Wish I was young again". Needless to say, they blew Geordie off the stage.
Great song, great album. They supported Queen and were the only support band I ever bought an album of. This song was the one I drove my mates mad with by singing it even thought no-one had ever heard of it...
Jeffrey, if that is really you, I've always wondered why your second album never been released on cd? That has annoyed me for years and years. I still have it on LP but my cat has shredded the inner sleeve though. LOL!
I'm sure there was a story behind how there came to be two drummers in the band for a while. Unfortunately I've forgotten what it was? Can anyone enlighten?
I was that gorilla. At the time I was the sound engineeer for Mr Big and on the day of recording they needed someone to dress in the groilla suit. I remember going to the bar and ordering a beer and running around in the streets of London dressed in the outfit...really was fun

is it just me, or is this song a bit 'Small Faces'? it has shades of 'How's your Bert's lumbago' in it.

Great song, totally loved this song when it came out - and the fantastic B-side
"Golden Lights" - I lived on a horrible council estate, and Dicken seemed to talk directly to that working class youth experience - a true great.
