Had breakfast with HOMELESS PERSON

I went out for breakfast, saw this 84 year old guy siting in street with his tri-cycle. He had some issues, his son abandoned him and took the house and his land. So he came to downtown Beijing, picking up garbage and selling it to recycle centres. Each bottle he could sell 20 cent RMB. I shared my breakfast with him.

Summer 2007, I found him a house via help from People's Highest Court and local court - nice of them.
Winter 2008, 2nd time revisit - he was fine.

To be 84, this guy looks A LOT BETTER than many 84 Americans that I have seen, just complaining with their fat asses about not having air conditioning, or a nice Craftmatic bed to waste themselves at home watching Wheel of Fortune and doing nothing all day long, after cashing their social security check...

Meanwhile, veterans sleep out in the cold winter of Washington DC walkways under carton boxes and newspapers begging at least for a little respect...

I could quote from Australian Immigration Department website-- Some homeless by birth, some homeless by choice. He is homeless by birth--giving birth to his son.
