T.R's song in that time was very very good. Some of them are comparable to Raja's composing. Since T.R is very good in lyrics, he was able to make big impression with simple tunes like this.

The song and lyrics are great. Too bad T.R doesn't know his limitations now and is embarrassing us.
But Poornima is so classy in this song!

TR was good in his own way. I think he must be No.1 in ratio of success to the number of films someone has MDed in Tamil.
Unbelievable talent. He shud have been behind the camera composing music and writing lyrics. He acts and loses his dignity.
