Burges High 1990

I was searching through some old VHS tapes and found a video that I did when I was a junior in high school. One day I decided to take a camcorder to school and I just taped my friends at random. Please forgive the jerkiness, but remember those used to be pretty big.

I was class of 1990 & didn't like Mr. Molina, who was on my case for no reason. On the video I see Veronica, Mike, Danny, Mrs. DeSantiago, Marco, Oscar, Robert, Ernie, Cheryl, Joe Wolfenberger and even a very quick shot of my mother working in the business office. Also a few old track teammates - namely Colin Thomas, Robert Ladson and Bobby Contreras.

This video almost made my eyes tear. I purposely vanished and don't keep in touch with many people,but I do try to find out where they are now.

I was class of '91. I think I just found you in my yearbook. I was in track the year before until I messed up my knee. If you have your 90 yearbook, I'm on page 156, in the group shot I'm second from the left. They spelled my name wrong, as usual. I think my mom worked with your mom at Clendinnen Elem

Yeah, he was pretty strick for us too, but you just need to know how to get on his good side. Memorize the Burges Fight Song and your in.

Oh my gosh styles were so different back in the day the hair the clothes the car I was born in 88 and graduated from burges in 2006 that is crazy I can't believe Mr. Molina was there and he looked alot more friendly then he was when i went there! Did you ever take this to your reunion?

Thankfully I still have a few more years until my 20th reunion. But yes, I do plan to take it!

I knew Mike Garcia pretty well. We both transferred to MacArthur in 8th grade. I got kicked out for a certain football field incident and went back to Ross. I also knew Ross Garrett pretty well and just saw him a few years ago when I worked for KLAQ/KSII and his employees had a golf team entered. You probably knew Chuck Gonzalez also, who was a very good friend of mine from 7th grade through college even though he moved to Eastwood. Lastly, Terry Reynold was my fraternity brother in college
