These are airchecks from my KCRK shows from 1986 to 1990. I was a volunteer air-staff member for their broadcasting school from 1984 until the school and station were sold and subsequently moved to Fremont and became a student-run operation exclusively. KCRK was available only on cable-FM, so that limited the audience big-time.
The station and school were started and run by Jim Bryan who worked at K-101 in San Francisco and Doug Wulff who worked at KKIS-990 in Pittsburg, CA. They now own commercial stations in Modesto, CA, KRVR and KVIN.
Even though the station didn't pay it's airstaff, It was always an alternative for me between commercial shifts.
@baysadaye I have a lot of unscoped airchecks but You Tube limits time to 10 minutes. I might still put some more stuff up. I was at Quail Court in 1984 and when the new owners moved it in 1994.

Heh. I used to fill in regularly when "The Creek" was still on Quail Ct. Would love to hear more. Any unscoped material? Commercials?
