@usmarinecorpslover Yea every marine is a rifleman, but there is a HUGE difference between infantry.. and non-infantry marines. Infantry marines train to fight, thats there job.. while non-infantry marines they work. They do other jobs in the marines such as mechanics,admin,communications
, ect.... "Every marine is a rifleman" simply means every marine is taught. How to shoot a m-16, meaning if something would happen... he'll be able to defend himself. -

@SOjuice I was Army Infantry. It's the same. Ever noticed how the POG's skim all the best shit off for themselves? Except for whoever supplies morons to leadership postions... those guys are on top of things.

@usmarinecorpslover just not a good idea to have women on the field...you guys already have it easy in the IST/PFT holding yourself above the bar for 30 seconds while we have to do actual pullups. You wouldnt stand a chance in Infantry, and as I said not a good idea to have 2 of the opposite sex on the same field.

i thought that every marine is a riflemen first? dont they say with that that everyone men or women should have basic infantry skills? just wondering why they advertise with that if they dont apply it
