I don't understand why we have Jewish Oplitical figures who would prevent Jews or anyone else from self defense.

All the Jewish people Iknow are right wing conservatives who want the ability to protect themselves with firearms if needed.

If anyone knows why there are so many Liberal/progressive Jews in the U.S. please educate me why they are the way they are because it make no sense to me.

Those ones in power are the 'do as i say - not what I do' people. They want their power to themselves but control over others. Then too are the other left leaning Jews who forget history. There are many however who think straight and choose to take self defense seriously. Go to jpfo - dot -org and read about Rabbi Bendory - the Rabbinic director - he has some interesting thoughts. He is the 'Gun Rabbi' and is always trying to educate his kind.

I don't care if you're a Jew, a Muslim, a Christian, Hindu, Pagan, or Buddhist - if you attempt to institute gun control through the United Nations, you are a traitor to the United States. If you are a Jew, you could be considered a traitor to both the US and Israel (since they have dual citizenship). Any government organization that seeks to disarm the citizenry has an agenda.

@politicalsheepdog Because many of them are assimilated and totally ignorant of the Torah. Some of these "Jews" halahically (by Jewish law) aren't even Jewish. Many others are just totally ignorant. It starts with Jews not being educated properly and not having a Jewish education and upbringing. That's why they then assimilate to the outside cultures and practices. But most Jews who are connected are actually proud and "right-wing". Thank G-D in Israel Jews are a lot more right-wing....
