New Super Mario Bros Wii on Dolphin - nearly Perfect

Important stuff here, folks.
New Super Mario Bros Wii came out a while ago and people have been complaining about getting it to work on dolphin.
So this video shows you exactly what you need to do to get the damn thing to work reasonably.
Sound works nearly perfectly (there is a buzz as a result of the hack used to get it to work)
GFX is well.. not perfect, but totally dooable.

Controls are going to bust your ass though. Hope you have a wiimote.

NOTHING is wrong with the sound. If you had paid attention, you´d realise that the first part of the vid is using the LLE audio plugin. It was to allow reaching the level-select area. At which time we switch to the HLE plugin and the sound is fine. Try actually watching before commenting.

Yes this is the x86 version, however the x64 version should work just as well. As well as the JITIL variation of the recompiler.

You can use any revision past 4608. 4608 is the key because some wiimote fixes were added the solved the desync issue. (although it still has some pretty severe issues)

The key to full speed is simply a more powerful processor. The one in the video is an AMD Phenom II X4.

anyhow is good that it works for you i can't get it to work i think is my CPU (AMD 64X2 ATHLON @ 2.7 GHZ =/) i run games at 20 fps :s GFX card-> EVGA 9500 GT runs crysis almost flawless @ high settings 1024x768 props to you!

The size of this rom makes me think that i could just download The Sims 3 or something for the same size and have twice the fun... waste of time, but still pretty cool

Some graphical glitches, but emulating a Wii game is a great accomplishment. I have the game on a real wii.

I have a mac pro 2x2.8 8core 8800GT 6GB 800mhz ram 1680x1050 my cpu usage running at 28-38%. at a smooth 60-61fps all the way through. I'm shocked most i7's aren't up to its name.

Playable only with expensive computers. Usefull for those game-maniacs that own a starship-pc. I'll wait a little and i'll buy a real wii.

Don't be fools! Use Dolphin 5474 to get an nearly perfect emulation: -Excelent sound -Excelent graphics (exept that the blue, and fallen coins are invisible) -Use the Dx9 plugin and configure it to get an excelent gaming speed -Configure the wiimote plugin (you can also download joytokey to play with a joystick/joypad) Ps. like every game you need hardware My system: Windows 7 Ultimate Processor AMD Athol 2.10 Ghz RAM 2 GB Video Card Ati Radeon HD 3200 (256 MB) The game runs %100 in my computer
