veryone gets "inactive" cleints in SMS, but how do they become inactive? The blogcast shows how to enable a default task to help keep the SMS DB clean and also how to install and configure the SMS 2003 Client Health Monitor Tool. The default settings in SMS don't allow you to set the number of days before a client becomes inactive. That's your job to decide based on the organization and how long a system is off the network. The default is 7 days, but as you can see below, we can make that time custom if we have the client health monitor tool enabled.
