It's about a gothic girl who comes to school. The cheerleaders (also known as preps) try to change her into a cheerleader. The senior guy she is crushing on likes her as gothic, though she likes herself has a cheerleader. She then comes to a decision. Being yourself is what matters and not being who you aren't won't get you that far. Though she may not be popular, she has friends who like her for her. :)
