I thought Red state kinda sucked. There was almost no focus or "purpose" so to speak in the film. It just sort of featured stuff that happened for no reason, as if Kevin Smith didn't know what he wanted to to do or where he wanted to go with it. It's the film equivalent of a burger with the bun and condiments with no actual beef patty.

Red State was one of the most F'd up, and fantastic movies I have seen.
