This year the worst meningitis epidemic in a long time has killed up to 2,000 people and affected 60,000 in West Africa. In its biggest ever vaccination campaign, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) medical teams vaccinated more than seven million people in Nigeria, Niger and Chad and assisted in the treatment of thousands of sick patients. Belgian logistician, Alexis Moens, just returned from Aguie, Maradi region in Niger, where he coordinated part of MSFs activities. Listen to his account through this photoslideshow.
