  • Alan Gorrie & his "vocal duo partner" in Average White Band, Hamish Stuart are, along with Daryl Hall, the 3 funkiest white vocalists ever. I admit I never bought this particular CD, but just go back & listen to all of the old AWB jam. Those guys were absolute FUNK. Probably one of the most underrated soul bands of all time, and from the time they put out "Pick Up The Pieces" in '74, my all time favorite group...even to this day..

  • I remember this, but I must say that AWB's most underrated album was "Cupids in Fashion" they have a song that Allan led called 'Loves a heartache" he rips it.

Its classic A-Dub, one of my favorite soul groups of all time.
