RUSSIA TODAY REPORTS BANNING OF MINARETS IN SWITZWERLAND (ISLAM AHMADIYYA)

Ahmadiyya Muslim Missionary (Imam of the oldest mosque built in Switzerland) in Zurich defends the Islamic position on the need of minarets in the mosque. It is pretty sad state of affairs that such prejudice and narrow mindedness against Islam in the very name of FREEDOM is backed like this. I hope and pray that common sense will prevail and the dangerous path that these anti-Islamic forces have adopted wouldn't be backed by the general population of the country.

Biggest ignorance is when somebody tars every when with the same brush without doing any research on the subject. Prejudice and hate would take us no where. Islam teaches nothing but peace, tolerance, patience, respect and rationality. If one wants to see these values in practice among Muslims, one should look at Ahmadiyya Community.

@IslamAhmadiya Umm no it doesn't. It's what causes Islamic women to be treated like property. It is why Israel is under attack constantly by Arab bigots. Jews are attacked in Sweden for supporting Israel by people from the region. These are not a peace loving people. Oh and my roommate was a Muslim and he had an totally unhappy arranged marriage with his wife and kept her home all day and never did anything with her. Islamic culture is a primitive one.

@MzBUZZKILINGTON What have the "Arab bigots" to do with Islam? Islam is based on the teachings of Quran and not on what some "Arab bigots" say or do. Please don't try to confuse religion with politics. As a Muslim I don't support Jews, Hindus, Christians, Buddists, Muslims so on and so forth because of my prejudices or preferences towards anyone. @horsefeathers87 Lovely talking to you brother. You might have heard the recent barbaric killings of 3 Indonesian Ahmadiyya Muslims at the hands of extremist fanatic Mullahs. They were beaten/stoned to death for their faith. We present our sorrows and pains to Allah Almighty alone. We know that Allah is enough for those who persecute us for our faith. All true prophets and their communities have been persecuted in the past. We are not the first ones. Peace will prevail insha Allah (God willing).

@horsefeathers87 I can only say on behalf of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat (Community) in Islam that I follow. We have always openly rejected and condemned violence in the name of religion. We have never taken into streets to protests, we have always protested in peaceful manners by discussion and dialogue. You can check my channel and see how Ahmadiyya Muslims have always condemned expoitation of Islam in this manner. We are doing it since Promised Messiah came about 120 years ago.

@IslamAhmadiya the problem is not that muslim people are bad people it is that muslim people in majority dont condemn and take action against people who taint their name. why dont muslim people go out into the streets after a terrorist attack and burn down pictures of bin laden but when a cartoon is drawn everyone goes crazy this shows me that muslim people dont care about their name and support the deeds of mr. bin laden and his crooks that infact create the biggest damage to islam
