  • @THREEFRIEND

Zur Info: Der Ausschnitt stammt aus der englischen Version der DVD. Es gibt auch eine deutschsprachige Ausgabe des Titels.

  • I owned this DVD, it really wasn't very helpful...at least for me. I find some of his claims a little odd. For instance at no point did he buzz 3 octaves with no mouthpiece. I have a pretty good range and I can buzz 3 octaves with no mouthpiece. Maybe with... but even with his fluffalling added in he wasn't buzzing across 3 octaves.

  • Seems like if people like something you can't give an honest opinion about it on this site unless it is glowing with praise.

Yeah it sucks right now I'm trying to pick up the trumpet again after a 14 month absense. My tone quality sounds like a cat in a blender.

  • thanks my friend. He probably agrees with me in what needs to be worked on; he just doesn't call it a warm-up.

  • I have no idea why you got thumbed down. Your comment is completely correct.

  • yeah i totally agree :O and another thing with warming up is of course to start up the blood circulation through the lips so you wont start producing lectic acid as easily as when not warmed up. (and i'm not talking about this because im using too much preassure on my lips or anything, its simply a quote from another professional trumpeter.)

  • jaja prof dr dr malte burba honores causae , ganz egal was man fuer ein gefuehl auf den lippen hat , einfach spielen und es funktioniert !!!

  • Mr Burba is my trumpetteacher and its is so difficult to play, but with him, it is always funny!!!
