Veliko Turnovo is the old capital of Bulgaria. This is a short clip of the Tsarevets Castle remains that remind us about the existence of one of the oldest Empires in Europe!

My parents had friends in Veliko Turnovo. I remember visiting them in the 1980's when I was a kid. Our hostess worked in the castle. I remember her saying that Zhivkov had his villa on a nearby hill.

I live there (not in the castle :D) it's really cool. If anyone is looking for place to make his holiday Veliko Tarnovo is a great place to do that :)
