Isuzu Duramax explodes at the racetrack

700HP truck. Absolute carnage. Not surprising though. Busted chunks of crankshaft, rods, & pistons all over the track. They aren't built to take this kind of abuse like the real diesels are. Maybe someday GM will get a decent diesel engine in their trucks... Who knows.

in my opinion ford's 6.4 and 6.7 motors are pretty nice. They are evile with little mods to them unlike the cummins and duramax. Im a cummins guy btw. everyone stays loyal to something, just some of us have better taste in engines than others ;)..

btw I agree dodge trucks do suck..but oh well the mill under the hood makes up for it..

I'm sick of videos hating on the dmax, every ford motor since the 7.3 has been an absolute piece of shit. When you put more power to the motor than what its designed for it can blow at anytime.... The dmax and cummins both hold their own, whether its at the strip or hooking.
