Long time no post. Here is a lick that i enjoy playing and thought would be cool to share with the GJ community. It is a minor resolution based on E7 resolving to Am. I hope you find it useful and fun!

  • your videos are amazing! It's nice to find someone giving great licks away so others can improve, kind of like adding to your dictionary. But sometimes I can't see exactly what your playing. For the most part it's fine but could you do some tabs for them? Or something similar? Thanks!

  • @SolTetto thank you SolTetto. i dont do any tabs for the licks. in the beginning i didnt know how to crop the screen to give a better view of the fretboard. keep watching and try and listen and hopefully you will figure them out! sorry for the bad angle!

  • I can definitely hear the Stochelo Rosenberg influence. Great lick, Max!! What guitar is this? It seems new.

  • thanks man! this is very much a dutch style inspired lick. the guitar is my trusty ol' 2006 dell' arte hommage made by john kinnard. it has yellowed a lot since i first got it but it still looks pretty new.

  • by far the most pleasant, unpretentious and enjoyable share. thank you. wish there were more people on the net like that

  • @Jackolafrite on sent la haine dans ton post. On s'en branle de ton opinion. Ici on vient chercher des conseils et le gars qui enregistre ces videos nous est utile. Toi tu es une merde inutile qui pollue le site et le monde.

  • just found your page, right to business with the lesson, good stuff and thanks.

  • One thing I don't get is the picking, when do you use alternate?

  • Thanks for sharing man! Been looking round the net for some simple, no shit arpeggios just to warm up for improvising because I've just got into gypsy jazz :)

Would be good to find people to play with in the area though, will keep my ears open. Peace

  • Putain d'américain retourne jouer de la country !

  • We appreciate the lessons, thanks!
