Ectopic Pregnancy

Patient 27 year old, she had a previous pregnancy with a favorable outcome six years ago (vaginal delivery).
She denies any relevant medical history, she isn't allergic to any medication.
Now she complaints of mild abdominal pain, transvaginal bleeding which began 3 weeks ago, and a positive pregnancy test in urine.

  • i am 27 year old and i had 2 extopics in 2004 and another one was in 2006 with previous relationship , how unlucky i am ..now i am in love with my new boyfriend and i cant get pregnant anymore ..i am very sad to know that i cant provid him a baby and i just cant get over it ...

  • I don't concur with your concept, you can get pregnant and have a healthy baby, you can have an IVF and intrauterine embryo transfer. If you want you can search for a qualified OBGYN that manage reproductive issues near your area.

I hope you have a healthy and beautifull baby soon!

    Best wishes.

  • this is an amazing video. but, did they ever find a baby?

  • Thanks for your comments, there was a pregnancy, we found the gestational sac but the embrio was too small to see it.

  • omgsh! so did you take it out? or was it granted a 2nd chance?

  • We couldn't give the pregnancy a second chance because the internal bleeding could kill the patient.

  • a baby can't survive in a fallopian tube and once it is removed (out of necessity... the mother won't live if it's allowed to continue growing there, and the baby won't live because as it grows it would eventually rupture the fallopian tube, and it needs to be in the uterus to grow) it cannot be "implanted" into the uterus, and therefore it would not survive. It couldn't be "granted a second chance." Understand? It's a sad loss. Unfortunately, this baby wasn't meant to grow and be born.

  • I wanted to have a child more than anyone. After years of surgeries I became pregnant. I had two ectopics. I'm 42 years old now and will never have children. I'm a pre-law student, and will be attending law school soon. I feel like something is missing in my life. I would give it all up, to have my babies. I wonder what they might look like. I know that my first ectopic was a boy, he would have been 20 today, my daughter would have been 22. My heart aches every day for the loss of my babies.

  • I just went thru this friday....maybe it just wasn't my time to have another kid... I was only 19 when I had my 7 year old... But they caught it just in time...they said if I wouldve waited another 4-5 days I would probably have bled to death...I found out that I was definitly pregnant the same day before I went to the er that night... Thought I was miscarrying, the pain was horrible...hope I never have to go thru this again...

  • @sooouuuper Ohh Okay Thanksz(:

  • @FUCKALLH8ERS they do implant in other parts like the abdominal cavity but the likley hood of survival of the fetueus would be pretty low - i am sure the doc can help explain that - but the mother would suffer from hemorage and shock and may not survive a

  • does anyone know why it would implant somewhere other than your uterus ?

  • what song is that?

  • what song is that
