Street Science TV -- Nando Boom and Tito Bambino

Nando Boom, also known as Fernando Brown, is among Panama's most renowned dancehall reggae singers. Since 1977, his music and dance have heavily influenced the evolution of Latin music and culture. Over the past few years, especially, Nando Boom is widely considered to be one of the great fathers of raggaeton. His most representative and popular songs are "A Danzar" and "Esa Chica Me Vacila which still play in nightclubs all over Latin America.

Nando Boom is a devout Christian.

Tito El Bambino and his partner Hector released their first album in 1998. They became raggaeton stars overnight, releasing several successful albums and making appearances in several compilations. They are among the few raggaeton artists to sell out a massive concert in Puerto Rico, opening the path to other artists such as Tego Calderón, Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, and Wisin & Yandel. Although Tito and Hector captured the world's attention, they never attained the popularity and commercial success of Daddy Yankee and Don Omar.

Tito El Bambino eventually embarked on a solo career, signing with EMI Televisa in 2006. His first release was entitled, Top of the Line. The second "El Bambino" and now his current third album is "El Patron."

"El Patron" because he sees himself as defender of reggaetón". Due to that the word patron is a synonym of boss, and his colleague Daddy Yankee himself has given himself this name, he states "I see the word as a leader that is defender of his work and music that I do and I represent". "Yankee is one of my personal friends inside the music, just like Don Omar. And we have not to compete among ourselves, that we are the ones that have raised this music", he affirms.
