De Montfort University DMU Graduation Venue Change (Hitler's Response)

Hitler is annoyed that De Montfort University is moving the venue for the Graduation from The De Montfort Hall to The Curve. Even though Leicester University can still have their graduation there.

This was actually pretty funny! Made me laugh. Massively inaccurate though. A few points for consideration:

1) The swingers club closed down.

2) There's a Nandos just 1 minutes walk from the Curve, and a Maccy D's about 5 minutes. I live right next to the Curve so I know the area well. DMH has nothing near it.

3) The mess up with accepting the extra thousand students was made by the previous University board who have now all left. The new Uni board are having to clean up that mess.

@ColdSnapStudios Are you happy with the move? Which one would you rather have a graduation photo in front of? It's definitely a down grade. Typical DMU style. Let Down.

Hahaha this is hilarious!.. But on a serious note.. Is there NOTHING we can do to change it now?:/ I heard a Petition was given in.. But people were told that it had already been done and finalised and there was no going back.. Maybe DSU should voice their concerns to the Leicester Mercury or other media outlets to get more publicity?

@ColdSnapStudios I was thinking of points 1 and 2 when watching this video too. To be fair, I am very happy to graduate at the Curve. As I am already heavily involved with the Curve anyway, it actually makes it all the more relevant to me.

@ogjbot I'm one of the DSU Exec and I can assure you thats not true. I don't get in to online discussions anymore because they always lead to misunderstandings. If you really feel this strongly then please pop in to the students union for a sit down meeting with me. I'm free all day Wednesday if thats any good for you? Give me 15 minutes of your time to explain why we're not "in bed" with Dominic and why the SU is actually more representative than ever.
