My few cents:

I never got into MCR until after their latest CD "The Black Parade" came out, mainly because I'm not a fan of this whole 'emo' scene.

In many ways it reminds me so much of the grunge days of the early 90's, because the second Nirvana hit it big, then there were all these other bands trying to copy their style.

Emo kids IMO are not that much different, because hell I had the long hair and the plaid shirts and ripped jeans and jammed out to the scene back in the day almost like a religion (and I still do to this day)


But where on earth they try and claim MCR as some sort of cult suicide band, I don't get that at all? Are they thinking that because of the 'emo' scene, and the 'emo' kids?


Then again what about those stupid people who killed themselves listening to Judas Priest and Ozzy Osbourne, with their parents thinking they invoked suicide?


The ignorance of the media and the sad classification of its fans, will never die.


No wonder the media wants everyone to listen to William Hung =D

I am not Emo actualy I am goth but MCR are Punk-Rock and they are here to save lives. I love this protest. I just recently got into MCR but they are awsome and they are heroes.
