  • Absolutely incredible! The only business this guy should have with a cell phone again is being on someone's ring tone!

  • Opera critics are idiots, what do you mean he isnt up there with the greats. He can move people to tears, he can please the massess. Does anyone really care that some old fart doesnt think he rates with pavarotti? My untrained ear has listened to both and I hear greatness in both. My untrained ear actually prefers Paul Potts because Pavarotti just sounds bored when he sings, no passion he has been doing it for so long its like old hat to him.

  • I was one of the kids... i was in 5th grade. paul potts has a great voice, and he's a really nice and aimable person to be around.

  • bravo. he is wonderful. he is an inspiration to me for my keeping my dream alive of being a tenor solist. bravo Paul and the best to you

  • @MrR1D3R exactly!! paul puts all this soul and emotion into a song. it is evident he is passionate about what he's doing, that's what influences people most!!! that's the most important part about singing - expression, because it's art and art is on the spiritual side

  • @spinto13 HMMM--I am pretty sure this is in English and Paul is from the UK and English is the first language. If you are referring to Italian -many trained opera singers do not speak in Italian, German or French but sing in those languages.

I sang Gregorian Chants for 10 yrs in Latin -I also spent 6 yrs in High School learning and translating Latin and like many others do not speak in this dead language. You sound jealous of this fine man.

  • @BenzinFresser I agree with you. I am not too regular on Pauls vids. but it is obvious that some haters have had a conservatory background and someone walking off the street to sing as I heard him without their background and be so loved, its going to put few of their faces out. Pauls Nessun Dorma is so improved 2 years after he made his debut album, but even though when he made his album same month as audition, there is a chemistry with his voice. My unmusical ears tell me I love Pauls voice

  • Paul Potts has one amazing voice, I was lucky enough to hear him sing live like so many. I prefer his voice to those who have had so many years learning opera, and that inludes the most famous. Paul has a very strong voice, very sweet, and so many tenors no matter how long trained, leave me without emotion. I think that the others will have sounded under pitch to start with, who the hell cares. Also, Paul sang Nessun Dorma unbelievable in concert. Few trained unknown opera singers about, o dear

  • incrivel

  • People who throw stones at Paul are just bitter wannabe's who never made it in opera or any thing else. When they see someone from the back streets make it big, instead of being happy for them, they hate them out of their own miserable jealousies. YOU HATERS GO TO HELL! PAUL IS AWESOME! GO PAUL GO!
