I read somewhere that the brown widow has a more potent venom than the black widow. But what makes the black widow more dangerous is the way their venoms interact with our body. I dont remember exactly, but the venom of the black widow attacks your nervous system while the venom of the brown widow attacks in the local area of the bite.

I'am afraid you are confusing with the brown recluse spider, that has a necrotic venom, while the widows have a neurotoxic one that contract internal muscle. one of the symptom is increase of blood preasure and abdominal pain. For the brown recluse spider, the bite just necrose the area.

Uhhh....that's an immature black widow....they have a brownish-colored abdomen with white stripes and once they mature they turn black....duh

Comment font-elles pour se repérer dans leur toile ? Apparemment celle-ci est organisée en 3D, et l'araignée la parcourt sans arrêt pour aller refaire des paquets. Est-ce qu'elle ne s'emmêle jamais les pattes ?
