War is pure evil and there can be no justifications for atrocities committed by either German or Russians soldiers in WW2. Bad cannot be atoned, eliminated or equalised by another's bad actions. WW2 was a terrible shameful time for many..no words will ever right the the terrible wrongs carried out by victors or losers. Time to move on and...try to learn from it. (If that is posible)

@MegaWolfgang To be fair, it wasn't Germanys fault that Stalin sent millions and more millions to die to 'defend their motherland'. Sure they did, but with a decent military leadership they would have had WAY less losses. And on a different note - there is a difference in killing somebody who's shooting at you and raping and murdering a woman or child that is fleeing from you.
