he is the sexiest mann alive!!!! :) >3 and an amazing actor... best dr for dramtic storylines!! matt smith is good for the comedy side but he cant do a intense storyline... hes the fun, funny, cheeky warming dr ... david tennent was and allways will b the dramtic, dark, smart arse that could make u smile or make u leave u in dispense in a scene... matt smith .. i dnt think he has that offft do make a scene powful enough dramticlly enough to leave viewers intence... :)

If we learn anything from the Tom Baker years (besides the fact that Tom was brilliant), it's that you don't want to stay too long. Seven years in the role really wore the man down a bit. David is smart to leave before it starts to wear on him.
Besides, it's not like it's David that's dying. We'll see him all over our screens for years to come. :) And Matt will be great, I'm sure of it.
