Based on the popular manga by Ai Yazawa, NANA follows the adventures of two girls both named Nana. While they share the same name, they couldn't be more different. Nana "Hachi" Komatsu follows her boyfriend to Tokyo in hopes to make a new start, while Nana Osaki, who arrives in the city at the same time, is a punk rock beauty who has an ambition to make it big in the world of rock and roll. Although these two young women come from different backgrounds, they quickly become best friends to seek their happiness and dreams.

The J-pop Icon MIKA NAKASHIMA and the most desired actress AOI MIYAZAKI breath the bestselling manga into life with their fresh and expressive presence. Directed by KENTARO OTANI with the original theme song written by J-Rock charisma HYDE (L'Arc-en-Ciel).

  • I like Hachi more than Nana because Hachi is a strong person in the end (even though it looks like she was so needy) and Nana seemed strong in the beginning but she ended up being so needy and weak.

  • i like nana more than nana :-/

  • That movie was nice but I missed the "thoughts" of the people you had in the Anime.

  • LOVE THESE MANGA's n movies &! The anime movies of it -3 MIKA NAKASHIMA -3

  • always a fan of Miyazaki Aoi ^^

  • This made me cry very hard

  • omg can't believe I put off watching this for so long!! (*cough* since it came out )...

  • Kentaro OTANI?!

are you happen to be related to my bestfriend Koshiro Otani? i don't think so ^_^

anyways i didn't really like the movie

  • Not one of my favorite movies. Once they moved in together, the movie (for me) felt pretty much over. *SPOILER ALERT* But the subplot about the boyfriend cheating didn't help the movie, it just dragged it out. True, I only watched about half, but it wasn't for me. Something else that bugs me is how 'Aoi Miyazaki' doesn't return in 'NANA 2'.

  • yuna ito ftw , wow those girls look hot
