the movie is a masterpiece, It sure deserves to be a classic, it's as good as "the godfather" and even better than goodfellas, I love it and I watch it every year.

This movie was great but people like to idolize Frank Lucas like he was one of the best gangsters who ever existed. Anyone who thinks that must not realize that Frank Lucas was also a SNITCH who locked up hundreds of partners by cooperating with the law. I dont know about everyone else but where im from snitching is the ultimate dishonor...especially in the world of organized crime. What Frank Lucas did was save himself by shitting on everyone. That makes him a sellout and a bitch!!!

Lol it's irritating when people say "this is the best gnagster movie bla bla". Look. This movie was absolutely amazing, but not the best. The greats were Goodfellas, the Godfather, Once Upon A Time In America. Even then, Denzel probably outshined alot of the actors in those movies with this performance. The emotion in that scene at 1:02 was freakin amazing.
