Did you train your Chows or take them to obidence classes? As great as our Chows are,

and two of them are adopted rescues, they aren't real good at coming when called. I realize that rescues have probably gone through things I cannot even imagine, but I would think, after three years, he would come when called. If he is in the house he will come right to us. Outside is a different matter.

Yes, we trained our older chow for several years and he even is a licensed therapy dog

and has received awards.

Our other chow learns from him and we trained her with him. Both chows are pretty obedient, but our boy chow is more independent.

Both of our dogs are rescues too!

1 from Humane Society and 1 from ASPCA

Hi! just a quick question. Is it summer or are they the short-haired type of chow chows? I'm asking this because I have a Chow which I adopted 8 months ago, and I haven't seen her with her summer furr, right now her furr is quite much longer than your Chows. So maybe I can get an idea of how she'll look like when she sheds :)

i had a full chow chow named cece and she looked same as yours but mine died 2 day befor my birthday it was so sad :'(

thin my outher chow chow got lose and ran into the street and got hit by a car

but thank god that she still alive

but it broke her jaw and she has wirers in her jaw
