A short techniques video on making whey and cream cheese from yogurt. Very easy and makes much tastier cream cheese than you'll find in the grocery store.

  • Can any one tell me where to raw milk

  • @eliasvalens depends where you live. You can google Real Milk and the website realmilk.com will show you how you can find out where to get it. In Canada you have to join a herdshare.

  • Do you think I can do this with kefir?

  • Definitely, although I find that with yogurt I generally get a greater yield on the cheese.

  • Thank you for putting the video up. Very informative. If I choose not to use cheese cloth how do I get the cleanest regular cloth

  • Hey thanks for your nice comment! Actually I usually just use old dish-towels that are linen and make sure I have given them a good wash first.

My Aunt uses her dishwasher to wash her cleaning towels in and it gets them very sanitary...if you have a dishwasher!

  • Looks good!

  • This time I added a drop of vegetable rennet to my yogurt, but the whey that is straining out is WHITE! The last time I did it, it was clear. My theory is that the rennet binds the fat to the whey and it goes right through the towel. I don't know if it will come out hella delicious this time.

  • part 2 corrected

" People react to whey 10x more "

  • part 2

10x more then to any kind of vitamin. Even those people react positively to whey who has milk allergy.

Milk and whey are not the same but that is a whole different subject.

I can only highly recommend to implant good quality whey into the diet.
