I don't agree, Rick Martel and Val Venis's gimmicks were both different, the only thing they had in common was that they both were eye candy to women. Val's gimmick was that of a pornstar, and Rock Martel's gimmick was that of an arrogant model. I believe when you refer to Val stealing something from Martel you are referring to Val stealing Martel's song, the Val Venis song is an upbeat newer version than Martel's early 90's model song.
