Against Viets we tried to kill them all.
And agains Somalians or Iraqis is more like we are showing them who is the boss...

When i saw Saving Private Ryan I thought it was quite noble but when I saw We were soldiers I hated it, it's like a massacre... Against German was a war, but against Viets and Somalians were horrible...

Peacekeepers need weapons otherwise the conflicting parties will just shoot them
In fact i think the only ones who can go in unarmed without dying is the Red Cross

What government don't. There is always some crisis that requires armed forces (police are armed forces) that has to be "dealt with". And who says when to send in the Police, or troops, or "peacekeepers" a government.

Heh, that and the fact taht in our current system of government depends on war to keep itself going, its not much different to the fuedal system in that case.
