  • This is really awesome. I would like to give some intuition that I have on this,so people understand this more so here it is.

In unit circle Sin(Theta) in unit circle would give it y and cos(theta) = x; So I wondered why would this work using other hypotenuse,so the answer is this is just rates which any angle give,so if this will work on a rate of of hypotenuse of 1 it would work with any other hypotenuse. I hope this makes sense it did to me :D.

You made me really like math thanks sal.

  • hey thanks man.. learnt alot fom ya! cheers! and make some more videos like this.. hehe :D

  • SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL thank you <3

  • i think teachers are getting lazy these days by telling their students to find videos on youtube while giving crappy explanations themselves, I should just attend the khanacademy online "school" full-time

  • omg what the hellllllll is this?

  • @ravi3shekh1 Largest school in Utah, sucky as all hell

  • isnt that why you use - or + 360 if the radius is bigger than 90....u just gotta know how to use it,,,,dont undermine the power of SOHCAHTOA cuz its wayy more than you can get.

  • @vantarinitel i know what you mean,,,,thats what you get in community colleges mostly...

  • @makingsnsux grammar* and it's having proper spelling.

  • @makingsnsux No, I'm just highlighting the fact that kashmier1184 is calling someone a retarded whilst misspelling the accusation. The word retarded has connotations of stupidity which means that if you are going to call someone a retard, do not display your stupidity to the world :)

Calling someone a retard is never justified...
