In this video I discuss some of the basic differences between Quick Matches and Ranked matches in Gears of War 3. The Re-Up system will be live on January 17th along with the Fenix Rising DLC and I thought it would be a great opportunity to explain some of the differences for the people that decide to Re-Up.

also rank don,t get that much more points at all and thier is no skill system set up for rank u just go to rank and play just like quick match skill comes from who u play that,s it rank takes way to long and it has more lag like i said do the math in numbers i speak for the 3million plus on the game type tdm were rank has just a little over 1million i,am ranked in the top 100 iam beating over 3million which is a whole lot better then 1million and people will quit no matter what.QM IS THE RANK.

I agree the only available ranked is TDM koth always has 3000 playing quick at the most 500 ranked it takes forever to find a match I can play 3-4 quick to every 1 ranked , it's that bad even quick has stacked teams of at least 4 players

I would like to play ranked but usually there is only players at TDM in my region so thats why I always play QM ... :(

i once played a team in ranked where the enemy team had a 5+ w/l ratio and only one person on my team had a 2.0 and that was me, the rest were below 1 ---......-----

@kankouro82 I have only heard the term tryhard being used recently by cod players who tell anyone whos doing well in any situation a tryhard, I got a trip clutch with a gnasher and the whole team called me a tryhard and that they werent trying thats why I killed them, now whether or not they were trying is besidesthe point is about 98% of the people using the term tryhard aren't saying what your saying, there all just using it as a term for telling off anyone doing good againstem.

@kankouro82 Im speaking generally btw, so idk what you like to do on gears, the point is what makes a guy active lancering in a 3v1 a tryhard? What if he has a good positioning and he actually gets a clutch? Was he just some shithead who should be told off by other people even though he did the right thing at the right time? And what was the "You would know that if u had been in gears from the start" shit, one iv been playing gears since gears 1's release, and two i have only

@SG5Leroy being good is not the same as tryharding. you would know that if u had been in gears from the start. i play gears for the shotgun, wallbouncing and bodying noobs if theres one person on the other team left i will let them kill a many as my teammates in as fair a fight as i can give em whereas a tryhard will active lancer in a 3v1 situation.

@Josez1212 there were quick matches since the start bro and thats the way it should be altho they should really bring back the gears 1 style of unranked match
