I agree with you, this song has nothing to do with "Love" from MCIF, just happens to have the same name. This one has the distintive sound of the early Pumpkins... Nice song though

i really dunno why the FUCK there hasn't been some official release of their pre-virgin stuff somewhere, sometime over the years. yeah it's out there, but certainly not all of it, and much of it in surely lower quality than probably exists [esp. in the case of the 88 demos]. there is an utterly annoying amount of purity in those songs, and there are a fuckload of em. anyway, rambling. pre-gish era kicked fucking ass.

@brandonedge there's an studio version in the REEL TIME SESSIONS (1989) 2 CD's bootleg with 33 unreleased/demos songs excellent sound quality , I downloaded it years ago...

its confusing...the smashing pumpkins have quite a few early songs with the same name of later songs(notably the adore era songs).

there's the song 'cross' from their first demo tape and the other song from the adore demo.

The same goes for 'waiting'.

and the early song 'with you' and how theres an adore demo named 'without you'.

RESULT:The pumpkins have far too many songs!
