@ed11561 Your a dumb ass. You think that is abusing a firearm? They go under MUCH more abuse in 1 shot than they do when he checks the chamber is clear.

Happy with my xdm 3.8 9mm. Threw a Pearce grip extension on it and it feels great.

Great comparison! sold my glock 27 a while back planning to get a 23 gen 4 but maybe I'll wait til I getta chance to handle an XDM compact.. never been a fan of how the full size ones feel in my hand but maybe the compact will be better..

I hear ghostly voices on your video. are you ok do you need an exorcist to remove bad sports or do you want some protection I prefer xdm compact and Cal.will do I'm a real good crack shoot. :)

@hickok45...Kind of off topic question. Having reviewed all these firearms, god forbid you couldn't own a Glock or carry a Glock anymore, what would be your choice of firearm from this selection and why?

@MAGICBIRDS90 , That would take some serious thought. I like a lot of other semi-autos okay, but I'd be tempted to just go back to a nice double action revolver, such as my "hammerless" Model 65 with 3" barrel, or maybe the Ed Brown Commander size .45 ACP. The PM9 would still be a reliable companion. :-)

I'm sure this has already been mentioned, but dry-firing that SR9C without a mag in place is a big no-no. Not sure if it helps any if you have the magazine disconnect safety removed (it's a simple and easy procedure, did this with my girlfriend's SR9C as soon as she got it), but if it's still in place, dry-firing it repeatedly without the mag in place can result in light primer strikes or a click-no-bang condition. Great comparison vid, though.
