The Dems dumped him and he had to run as an Independant. His constituants ( the good folks of Connecticut) told the Dems they were wrong.

Lieberman's loyalties are questionable, to say the least. He should resign his seat in the Senate, come out of the closet and become an overt lobbyist for his true constituents, whoever they may be.
