@justwarren Hilary's career took off at such a young age I entirely believe it. She was at Curtis after me, but I was knew her, and she was so young she probably didn't even play in orchestra at first. Then her career took off, and I believe she may not have been available enough to consider it because of her solo engagements. I don't think she studied anywhere except Curtis, and was on a level that she wouldn't have gone to Tanglewood or Aspen for orchestra in the summers - as a soloist maybe.
This was linked from the Washington Post reporting on Maestro Kreizbergs death which was announced March 15, 2011. It was nice to see this interview, and it showed the side of Maestro Kreizberg that many of us musicians saw in rehearsals as well as backstage - dedication to his art, but also a warm person that we will miss.
I wonder if you have any plan in the near future to record and/or perform the violin pieces by Antonio Vivaldi or any other more obscure Baroque composers. I am a big fan of Baroque music. I think many of our Baroque music fans would love to hear your performance of Vivaldi's.
@Bshow1212 He passed away in March.
