there are two types of trucker in this industry in my eyes. Those that love the job and do it for the lifestyle and love the friends made along the way and can sometimes have more respect for other truckers and people then themselves. And those that couldn't give a sh*t about anybody or anything except the money. And these are the ones we need to leave!!! Trucking is a lifestyle, Respect it or get out! Thats my opinion anyways!! Keep on truckin!

You have to earn respect, respect is not a given right, but some drivers seem to think just cos they have a cdl and drive a truck they should get respect. I say nay nay, drive like a proffesional be proffesional then you can get respect.

@keystrucker Deffinately, it's a shame really to be honest!! If there was more truckers out there that gave a damn the trucking industry would be alot more professional environment in my opinion. Yet i notice it's mainly the ones who don't give a damn who bitch the most about the respect they 'deserve' Kinda sad really!
