This is a 3 part video of me collecting eggs on May 20, 2008. A few people have asked if the eggs I ship are the same as the eggs I set--I assume they are wondering if I keep a few pens of inferior birds to sell hatching eggs out of. Be assured the pens and birds you will see in these videos are the birds I hatch from, AND the pens I ship eggs from.
i have a breeding pair of silkies.. I had a flock but thanks to some wild hawks and eagles I'm down to two..but I have a question, I love the breed and do want to breed them.. my female has been laying eggs for about a month and half now.. and my rooster has mounted her several times, but she lays her eggs but she isn't broody at all.. any ideas.. i've tried everything I can think of.. but she isn't brooding them out at all..
