Bit of a ramble, but good to see someone trying to tie in the threads of what's happening.
Zizek wrote a 4 page description of the decline of the middle class last month - very coherent. I think this is what will force the change he's talking about - can't post link, but google "The Revolt of the Salaried Bourgeoisie" zizek.

@Chindro2828 I dont know what zizek point is on that, well i dont even know if zizek ever has a point.
But I would say after reading history about the russian revolution, that it was socialist, and it went towards that goal until somewhere on the 40-50s. Lenin and the bolsivik party where very close to Marx philosophy, both in theory and in praxis.

@BlueFrog83 Was it ever really true communism to begin with?

Before this interview I watched the Hardtalk one. Conclusion: This interviewer is good, he let's him finish his thought, unlike the one iin Hardtalk who stops him, teases and I dare say intentionally misinterprets Zizek everywhere he can.

@Sveccha93 I'm curious where you work as a language tester, as I've never heard anyone say that a tonal and character-based language such as Chinese is "INCREDIBLY simple." I've lived in China for 6 years and tested 5 on the HSK Chinese language test (out of a possible 6). It's really, really hard to memorize tones and characters. By comparison, English has a more complicated grammar, but the alphabet and lack of tones makes it much easier.
