Restrictor is the highest range in Deepground and the female is the player's character. You can create one at the beginning of the online mode.

Restrictor does not appear in Dirge of Cerberus...

The Online-Mode takes place at the same time of the FF7 main story (Cloud, Seph, Meteor). Only that Deepground is unaffected of the trouble in the upper world :-)

Nero is locked up, for he's clasified as too dangerous to be free - same goes for Vice.

In the last Episode we get an indircet hint of what happens to both of them, after the online mode is finished.

He did avenge her. She gave her life so that Weiss would be able to kill Restrictor, since she had no restriction chip only she could take on and distract Restrictor long enough for Weiss to get into position.

Without her, Weiss and Nero would still be in chains

Weiss is the best. While Sephiroth starts out his fight against Angeal and Genesis with his Masamune, Weiss starts bare handed. xD

Oh yeah, if you're looking for his battle theme, it's called "The Immaculate".

The Restrictor is SOLDIER 1st Class and a member of the 14th Unit, "Lost Force." They wiped out the previous strongest SOLDIER Unit (Ragnarok) overnight. There's one Restrictor in every Sector, and the Restrictor we see oversees the are directly underneath the ShinRa Building.

They're all 1st Class and down there, so you don't see them in Crisis Core.
