I have owned this card for the past year or so and it has been great but only when I overclock it does it really impress me, when you overclock this card from 800/100 to 900/1300 it runs 20%+ better so it can just about keep up with the 5850, now these cards can be found for so cheap, I have seen them do better then the 6850's.
I am going to add a second 5830 to my i7 1366 build.

u cant compare single cards and crossfire, noob!!

@DutchClubSounds I have a 5670. Did you know that I've ran every game I have on max settings, aside from skyrim? Even then it runs on high settings at 80 FPS.
Not bad for a £50 card.

@NOGEARS YES I UPDATED AND GUES WHAT IT STILL SUCKS NOW HAVE A I 2500K @ 4.3 AND CORSAIR VENGEANCE @ 1720 mhz AND still sucks the 5670 SO SHUT THE FUCK UP
-
Duh, try updating your computer specs to high end conponents and you will see that the HD 5670 works with pretty much every game available on high settings.
-
@targ27 well a gtx 560ti is fairly newer but id assume the 5830 and 560ti would be about the same
-
what is better, two of this cards in crossfire, or a gtx560 ti???

who is this fool, he doesnt seem to know jack shit about comparison, let hardware alone...
Ive been doing research on my 5830 as I was very interested and here is a VERY simple review:
470gtx>5830>460gtx>5770
but this video is also outdated because you can pick up a 5830 for $110 at just about any online website like newegg

iam gonna buy the 5830xtreme edtition from sapphire but the thing is to large for my case.
and dont have money for other case and iam gonna cut metal out of it to fit the card
LOL whant this so much now have a crap HD5670 but only play at 1280x1024
standard hd5770 vs hd5970 CF+OC in a benchmark ?! wtf?! what kind of comparison is that ??! even hd 5770 vs single standard clock hd5970 woul have been overkill , dude please do benchmarks with graphic cards in the same price and performance range for better comparison

lol you dont need a card that can run a game at near 300 fps, wtf?, human eyes can't notice much more than 60 FPS, therefore 60 FPS is a perfect speed for any game.
