The myths of the Greek gods and goddesses that our planets are named after. Just as a side note: The Greeks and Romans shared some of the same gods. Both names are included, their Roman and Greek names. Although our planets were named after the Roman gods, keep in mind that the Greeks and Romans shared the same gods and goddesses, just the names were different and some of their myths and stories may differ. This video includes information upon the Sun: Apollo, Mercury: Hermes, Venus: Aphrodite and Mars: Ares. Also includes the side stories: The Judgment of Paris and The Affair of Ares and Aphrodite.
