@thinspo1818 I lost my dad when I was 9 years old and it was a month before my birthday. Christmas was my favorite time to be around him because we would ride in the car together and get to spend more time together. My parents were divorced and I always wanted to be with him instead of my moms. This song makes me think of my dad and the holidays we spent together.

This was the first Christmas without my mom. My heart is heavy. She was as beautiful as this tender and expressive song. May others out there grieving find comfort somewhere. I do not know where I will.

Grief is a long journey...a very personal journey...give it time and let all the emotions come and go...you will find your way, I promise...and in your grief also remember your joy, LIVE your life, you are allowed to smile and laugh...your mom is always with you and I know (being a mom) that she would not want you to stay sad for very long...celebrate her life and who she was, I know that will make her rest easy :) (((HUGS))) Connie

I wish I could have gotten my ex-wife to listen to this song before she left me. I don't know if it would have stopped her from leaving...but I will always wish. I loved my Bobbi Jo. Thanks for posting this.
