  • @onstageagain Cheers!

  • @Guitasteef Got it ! I understand where your coming from. I rem my parents taking me to symphonies in NY and falling asleep, while others were cheering like it was some kind of a " Big Deal" However, I did learned to appreciate it. but it took awhile.

  • @onstageagain Actually i said: "blah blah blah on this page you hear about musicians" I was reffering to all the comparising and downtalk or uptalk about them. I was surfing on youtube at the time and found it everywhere that day, so i had to leave a comment somewhere.... For your reassuring: i like Carl's playing... i don't love it though. But that's just an opinion and a difference in taste. Some like Chopin others like Bach. Some like BB King and some like Carl Verheyen.

  • @Guitasteef My reaction was from your action, Blah Blah Blah ,to a man who is 1 of the best in the world ,when few work today at being BEST at anything. Blah Blah Blah is really disrespect "my opinion" Majority of players mediocre at best!

A few like, Jerry Reed, Albert Lee, Bobby Cochran, Roy Clark, Chet Atkins, Glen Campbell, best in there field, & you would be hard pressed to find anyone that could hang equal with these greats & the Individual arrangement. Its unique.

  • @onstageagain I didn't say anything bad about Carl Verheyen. So I don't understand your reaction...

  • @Guitasteef Excuse me? U don't hear about people like Verheyen , Albert Lee, etc all the time. Tell me where the hell do U hang out? have a man laying on my sofa sleeping right now , who took lessons from this guy 30 yrs ago. Carl lived in Newport Beach, on 51st street at the time. My friend a great guitar player in his own right traveled with Darrell Mansfield for several yrs as his guitar player... check it out on the tube . these people know what there doing.,

  • The same old BLAH BLAH BLAH on this page you hear about musicians (guitarists) all the time.....

  • It is retarded arguing over who is more humble. Utterly ridiculous!

  • Carl is about as humble as they come. He's intense and opinionated when it comes to guitar and I don't always agree with him specifically about how to set up a guitar, but don't take that for arrogance. He sincerely wants to make ALL his students into amazing guitarists and, like the rest of us, surely wants to hear the next level in his lifetime. I'd like to know when you met him to give you such an opinion. He's always around winter NAMM if you're in the LA area.

  • @feet2oofast I assume Gary would be the sire...
