Luke Godson - Third Prize 2008

The basic concept and principle behind the creation of my motion graphics piece, was to communicate the notion of expression through the use of abstract forms and suggestions. Filming mundane backdrops that were instantly transformed with the introduction of colour and positive statements that appear throughout the sequence helped suggest freedom of movement, sound and colour. This coupled with a lively track strengthened the message of vibrance and expression. I decided to remove the people in an attempt to eliminate the possibility of directing the message at one specific denomination. All in all I am pleased with the outcome.
